ANAESTHESIA TREATMENT

Artificial deep sleep in which all senses are completely switched off.

If your fear is too great or you suffer from dental phobia, we can offer you treatment under general anaesthesia in our practice in cooperation with an anaesthetist. This is recommended for extensive treatments with many fillings and tooth extractions.

Often patients have overcome their fear of the dentist when the most unpleasant things have been done after such a basic

treatment under anaesthesia and they have been able to establish a relaxed relationship with the dentist with normal routine checks.

For children up to the age of six, statutory health insurance covers the cost of general anaesthesia treatment if necessary, and for adults it is usually an optional benefit.
